Today was a kicked back day at Gram's helping Mommy design a village with a working diesel train for Christmas, but it picked up when we went to Haley's Winter Dance Show, ate and played at McDonald's and then making an impromptu trip to the Ethel M Cactus Garden.
First the village is turning out great and hopefully we will have it finished tomorrow and we can share some photos and maybe video of it. Second Haley's dance show was fun and she looked so pretty and cute in her light up Rudolph shirt and curly ribbon bows in her pigtails. Third McDonald's rocked. We just love playing on the toys and it is always better with Cameron and Haley. Fourth the "Hey look we are by the Cactus Garden, let's go" stop to walk through a magically decorated cactus garden.
We had to wait a few minutes for Daddy to catch up to us (he was in his own vehicle) and while we waited we hung from the handles inside the van. This started out as just a simple pull up and hang a month or two ago and now we are doing flips into our car seats and swinging out of the van. The Ethel M Factory was open but not making chocolates and Toby decided we need to go back tomorrow during the day to see them make chocolates, so after preschool classes we will stop by and see and taste some chocolates. Yummy. When we got home tonight we enjoyed some homemade hot chocolate milk, cookies and crashed hard from a long day of playing.
