Being sick is no fun! Being 4 and being sick is worse. Toby has been sick now since Sunday. It started small over the weekend with a cough, but now it is Wednesday and he has a fever, is tired more than usual, coughing a lot, and has times of shoelace snot running from his nose. We called the doc today and will try to get in tomorrow. We missed our preschool classes today, I just can't be the mom who takes a sick kid to school. I feel bad he went Monday even though he didn't have a fever. Right now he is happy and quiet. If you ask him if he is sick, he replies with "I'm not sick." Of course then he coughs for 30 seconds. So today is a comfies and tv day. He is in heaven cuddled up on the couch watching Scooby Doo movies. With any luck he will kick this germ in the butt and be back to playful silly Toby in a few days.
